Religare Capital Appoints Jason Todd As Global Head Of Equity Strategy

Religare Capital Markets Ltd (RCML), the investment banking and institutional securities arm of Religare Enterprises Limited, has appointed Jason Todd as Global Head of Equity Strategy.

Jason will be responsible to strenghten the group’s emerging markets equities platform through incisive analysis of factors driving the world’s most dynamic and complex growth markets.

Before Religare Capital, Jason was with Morgan Stanley where he was the US and global equity strategist, in New York.

Subhajit Chowdhary Joins Barclays Shared Services As CFO

Subhajit Chowdhary joins Barclays Shared Services, a subsidiary of Barclays Bank Plc as the Chief Financial Officer.

Chowdhary will be responsible for the overall management of the company's finance department as well as regulatory compliance. He will report to Sameer Chadha, CEO Barclays Shared Services India, and also serve as a member of the BSS Management Committee.

Edelweiss Capital has appointed Anil Kothuri as Head - Retail Finance.

In his new role, Kothuri’s would be responsible to scale up Edelweiss Capital's housing finance business and to expand into more retail financing products.

Prior to joining Edelweiss Capital he was with Citibank.

Sujoy Das has been appointed by Religare Asset Management as Head - Fixed Income.

Based in Mumbai, Sujoy joins from Bharti AXA Investment Managers and will be responsible for managing Religare AMC's fixed income portfolio.

Sujoy has over 15 years of experience in the Indian Fixed Income Markets.

Symphony Service Acquires US Based CoreObjects Software

Bangalore-based Symphony Service Corporation has acquired CoreObjects Software Inc, a Los Angeles-based new product development services provider, that specialises in bringing commercially deployable products to market.

With CoreObjects’ engineering delivery centers in Bangalore and Pune, India and its team of highly skilled full-time product engineers and deep vertical market expertise, Symphony Services will expand its offerings in the product development and embedded product development space.

This acquisition also provides Symphony Services access to additional re-usable components and frameworks for product development, including CoreObjects' Smart Objects suite of software assets designed to speed clients' products to market.
