Noida based - BAG Films and Media will raise upto $30 mn through GDRs or FCCBs.

Incorporated in 1993, BAG operates as a media and entertainment company producing over 40 television shows.

It also operates International School of Media and Entertainment Studies, which offers post-graduate diploma in broadcast journalism, television production, and direction and media management. The groups online presence include news24online.com and e24bollywood.com.

In January 2007, Mr Sameer Gehlaut of Indiabulls picked up 25% stake for $5.7 million in BAG Films. In 2007, the company has raised $17 million from FID Funds (Mauritius) Ltd, a unit of Fidelity International for about 11% stake.

Radio frequency (RF) cables manufacturer, Shilpi Cable Technologies Limited (SCTL) has filed DRHP with SEBI to raise Rs.55.87 Cr.

It will use the IPO proceeds to set-up a wire and cable assembly shop, expand its product portfolio and manufacture cables for 3G networks. It will also manufacture low voltage power cables and cable accessories.
