Olympus Capital Acquires Axis PE's Stake In Vishwa Infrastructure
Axis PE has exited Vishwa Infrastructure by selling it's stake to Olympus Capital and New Enterprise Associates. Olympus capital has invested $50Mn in the secondary deal.
Axis Infrastructure had invested $15Mn for a 35.6% stake in 2008. NEA, which had invested Rs100Cr in the company in 2010 held 11% prior to this transaction. The promoters - Yerra Srinivas, M.L Sridhar Reddy, J. Vikram and Mr. K. Vijay Kumar, hold 53.4-% in the company.
Founded in 1999, Hyderabad-based Vishwa Infrastructure is integrated water EPC player and focuses on water and waste water pipeline networks, construction of water and sewage treatment plants, construction of pumping stations, management of NRW Projects and construction of allied infrastructure including reservoirs, civil and electrical works projects.
Recently, it raised $5Mn loan from IFC for it's PPP project in Khandwa and Kolhapur.
Axis PE is also exiting it's Rs.67 Cr investment in Corrtech International Private Limited.
