Intel Capital Invests In Bangalore-Based Omnesys Technologies
Intel Capital has invested in Bangalore-based Omnesys Technologies Pvt Ltd, which provides software for securities trading and order-management systems.
Intel Capital plans to help Omnesys connect with potential customers and take its product to securities markets around the world.

Founded in 1997, Omnesys Technologies is a provider of multi-asset, multi venue trading systems.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) holds a 26% stake in the company promoted by Shrikant Pandit, an ex-Infosys Director.
Omnesys software provides market data and connectivity solutions to both the buy-side and sell-side firms. The product suite is available as a firm or broker hosted model, and in a Software As a Service (SaS) Model. The product OMNESYS NEST is widely accepted in the marketplace and is used by institutions, exchanges, brokers and algorithmic trading desks.
Other than Bangalore, OMNESYS has offices in Mangalore and Mumbai.
Intel Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Intel Corporation. It makes equity investments in technology start-ups and companies worldwide.
IWith this deal, Intel Capital has invested $45 Mn in India this year. The other deals that Intel Capital announced this year in India include Althea Systems, July Systems, MCX, Verismo, and Allied Digital Systems. Intel Capital also announced follow-on investments in two Indian portfolio companies: Vriti and Wortal.
